Pimp’s First Amendment claim rejected

A federal appeals court recently considered a claim by Jaron Brice, described by the court as “a pimp who prostituted under-age girls, among others,” that he had a First Amendment right to records of two material-witness proceedings. The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia rejected that claim. The Blog of Legal Times has more on the June 24 ruling.
