Nashville to host copyright conference
NASHVILLE — Members of the U.S. Copyright Office will hold a daylong discussion of current copyright-related issues at the First Amendment Center on April 29.
Copyright attorneys and others interested in the state of copyright law will be attending the conference.
Sessions will explore such areas as pending federal legislation, recent legal cases, and online copyright registration. Another panel is titled “A Digital Dance: Copyright and the Music Industry in the File-Sharing Era.”
Marybeth Peters, register of copyrights, and Gene Policinski, vice president/executive director of the First Amendment Center, will welcome the participants.
