First Amendment and the Supreme Court

This month’s ABA Journal features a story by First Amendment Scholar David L. Hudson Jr. examining the First Amendment’s prominence during the last U.S. Supreme Court term.

“The First Amendment often took center stage, as the justices examined disputes involving funeral protests, violent video games, employee petitions, restrictions on pharmaceutical marketing and campaign finance reform,” Hudson writes.
