Wednesday, September 21, 2011

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer spoke with Tom Ashbrook on NPR’s “On Point” this morning, discussing the Constitution, the First Amendment and the future of democracy in the United States.

The current associate justice discussed several cases, including rulings in which he was in the minority, such as Citizens United v. FEC the 2010 campaign-finance opinion, and this year’s Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association, the violent video-games decision.

Breyer was on the program to discuss his new book, Making Our Democracy Work: A Judge’s View.  Listen to the program here.
