Three-time Grammy Award-winning musician Ashley Cleveland will appear in concert with renowned guitarist/producer Kenny Greenberg. Presented in partnership with WAVA Radio 105.1 FM.
The singer-songwriter will perform her music and discuss freedom and faith. The special appearance will include a conversation with Ken Paulson, president of the Newseum and former host of public television’s “Speaking Freely,” in which Cleveland will talk about her career and her involvement with faith-based music, including her Grammy-winning CDs.
Advance tickets can be purchased online at newseum.org/concerts. Tickets also can be purchased from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Newseum’s admission desk at 555 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., in downtown Washington, D.C. Tickets for the show are $20 for the general public and $15 for Newseum members. A special $10-per-person group rate is available for church groups and other groups of five or more people.
Proceeds will support the Newseum’s First Amendment education efforts.
Cleveland is the only three-time winner of the Grammy Award for Best Rock Gospel Album and has received rave reviews for her latest CD release, “God Don’t Never Change.”
